How The Corner Beauty Began
The Corner Beauty was founded in August 2026 to give local clients a place for personalised facial, skincare, waxing, lash, brow, and nail treatments close to home. At the time, the area had few options for the kind of attentive, one-on-one care our founder wanted to offer. As word of mouth spread from client to client, the salon's reach grew naturally beyond Stoddard Road to welcome clients from Mount Roskill, Hillsborough, Three Kings, Lynfield, Waikowhai, Onehunga, Royal Oak, and Blockhouse Bay. What started as a small local salon has grown into a trusted destination for regular self-care and special-occasion treatments across the wider area.
Why She Built It Differently
Our founder wanted to build a salon where treatments feel personal rather than production-line, where every client is seen as an individual rather than a slot on a schedule. She believed regular clients coming in for routine self-care deserved the same attentive care as someone preparing for a special occasion.
